Individual Psychotherapy for Adults

Welcome! As a licensed therapist, I am dedicated to helping adults overcome life's challenges and achieve their full potential. My approach to therapy is centered around two evidence-based modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

CBT is a short-term, goal-oriented therapy that focuses on changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to distress. It has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

ACT, on the other hand, is a mindfulness-based approach that emphasizes accepting uncomfortable thoughts and emotions rather than trying to eliminate them. It also encourages individuals to identify their values and take action towards living a fulfilling life, even in the presence of difficult thoughts and emotions.

By combining these two approaches, I help my clients develop the skills and mindset needed to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and self-awareness.
